Licence Options
We offer the following two options for maximum flexibility.
Type 1 - individual, 13, 26 or 52-week student accounts accessed from any Internet-connected computer both within and outside the institution or company.
Type 1: Features
Each student has their own username and password.
Each account runs for 13, 26 or 52 weeks and can start at any time.
Best suited to institutions or companies with relatively small or unpredictable student numbers.
Type 1: Benefits
a) Offers access to part-time students with limited access to institutional or company facilities.
b) Ideal for students who want short or longer term courses in-house.
c) Can be matched closely to the demand for courses from students.
d) Offers the chance to get students started on their studies before their arrival or as a follow-up course.
e) Ideal for institutions or companies which need individual accounts for students or clients studying at a distance.
Type 2 - a yearly licence accessible from within an institution via the Internet.
Type 2: Features
No need for username and password; the system recognises your institution's fixed IP address. Can be used by any student in the institution at any terminal.
Materials are available all year round.
Best suited to institutions with large numbers of students who wish to access the materials on a (guided or free) self-study basis.
Type 2: Benefits
a) Less management involved than in setting up individual accounts for particular students.
b) Can be used by a wide range of learners, such as term-time and summer school EFL students, ESOL learners etc.
c) Works out much cheaper over a year for larger numbers of students.
