IELTS Part 2 Topics: A Special Place
In Part 2 of the IELTS Speaking exam one of the topics you may get asked to speak about is a place that is special for you. Here are two example tasks you could be given:
Example 1) Describe a place in your country you would recommend to tourists.
You should say:
- The name and location of the place
- Its cultural/historical significance
- Why it's special.
Example 2) Describe the kind of holiday you like.
You should say:
- What the holiday is
- What you do on a holiday like this
- What it is about this type of holiday that appeals to you.
