IELTS Discussion Questions

In Part 3 of the IELTS Speaking Exam you'll be required to take part in a discussion with the examiner based on questions related to the Part 2 task. For example, if the Part 2 topic was on the subject of 'travel' you could be asked to discuss the importance of taking holidays, the tourist industry in your country or the benefits of being introduced to new cultures. Here is a list of other example IELTS discussion topics.

Your aim should be to help the discussion flow as naturally as possible by responding to questions fully, making your answers as interesting as possible and not being over-cautious about making mistakes.
